As for normal well the enemies attack less often in general. Final fantasy iv this game was way too hard. Unless you find regular mode too easy.
I remember the ds version being much more difficult than all previous versions of ffiv, but still. Rango 4 years ago #1 grind more and keep casting slow. Even regular mobs can be very challenging in the ds version if you don't understand the battle system and hope to just auto your way through with out grinding.
